Celebrate the holiday of Kwanzaa, a special celebration of our cultural heritage and traditions. This fun and joyful holiday marks the end of the year for many families in our communities and is an ideal occasion to get together and reflect on our year.
Kwanzaa a celebration of family, community and culture is observed from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a feast and gift-giving. Kwanzaa is not a religious or a political holiday. Kwanzaa is a reflective holiday, a time for African- Americans to think about their culture, history and community. Knowledge Bookstore celebrates Kwanzaa on December 26th each year and continues to provide the tools for teaching the seven principles and for celebrating our heritage.
